I saw the amazing infocommercial on TV and figured that for $39 what did I have to loose. I ordered it but found out that in ordering the cost was actually $169 but if you paid for it then they would deduct $35 from the cost. I asked if it was still guaranteed satisfaction and fully refundable and of course they said yes. The salesperson also was trying to sell all sorts of additional "tidbits" for additional fees ($150 -$400) which would make your success much easier but I decided to wait and see what the basic program was. Once I received the basic program and enthusiastically started going through it I realized that it was going to take many hours to do what they made to sound like a few hours a week. The day after I received the package of materials I was called to see if I needed help. As soon as they mentioned additional sales aids & seminars at rediculous prices I decided that I was not interested and I wanted to return the materials. Once I called the return department and said I wanted to return the program because it was much more time & labor intensive and what I was able to do within the 30 day free trial period the salesperson wanted to give me an additional "free" 30 days trial of the program but I said no. After I looked at this web site I realized that they use all sorts of sale's gimmicks and then won't refund your money. I've only had the program 2 weeks and returned the program but it sounds though I may have a hassle receiving my refund (minus shipping costs both ways). Thank goodness for these web sites for people to do research on such questionable companys and if I don't get my $135 refunded at least I didn't waste any more than that which I may have done if I had not read these other complaints.

It's a rip off. They send you e-mails telling you they're going to do this and that for you at no additional cost to you and then they hit you up for thousands of dollars more and when you tell them you can't afford that then they say "ok, well good luck in the business, and hang up on you." Russ Dalby is a scam artist and nothing more. He doesn't care about helping anyone do anything.

Sure, the infomercial sounded great. And I can't go wrong because I can send it back for free. After about 4 days from receiving the program I got a call from a rep stating I can be selected for a premier training slot. Of course he made it sound like not everyone gets to be selected, only the most "promising" students get to "enroll" in the course. "Promising" means those fools who agree to shell out more money....as much as $10,000.

Hi, I have purchased the Russ Dalbey winning in the cash flow business. I thought it sounded like an good idea. After the first week i got a call from somenone saying that i was picked for the winners circle. They said that they pick 100 students every so often and send them on a online schooling. They said this will teach you everything you would have to know about finding and selling notes. I thought it was an good idea and whenever i agreed to do it they then said how it would cost 4000 dollars. I quickly said no. The guy got extremely mad and told me how you have to spend money to recieve money. I told him how do i know that your not a fraud. That pushed him to his max he then hung up on me. Then i sent the package back within the 30 days. waited 2 weeks never recieved my money back. I called them and they said they recieved my package and that i would take about a month to get credited back into my account. It's been 2 months now still nothing. I call then all the time they never answer. I leave emails and messages on their answering machine and they still don't get back at me. So i guess i lost the 160.00 I would not recommend this to anyone. It is the biggest scam. The only one whos making the money is Russ.

I agree that this is a scam. I purchsed the course and started reading the books. It seemed like a lot of research on my part when they had advertised that it would not take much time. Then I was called about joining their course special members only course. That was a bigger scam. I don't remember the entire conversation, but I do remember him asking me if I make business decisions on my own. I said I usually do, and then had me transferred to another person, and putting me on hold to talk to their manager, and telling me I am a preferred student, and I was thinking "how do they know I am a good person for this group". Finally they told me about the $4000 and how they wanted me to give them the credit card info right then. I then said I needed to go over the program with my husband first and the guy instanly got mad. "You said you could make business deciions on your own!!". I reminded him that I said usually, but this was a big purchase and he started yelling again until I finally had to hang up on him. I then promply sent back the books, that I might have otherwise kept, that was in the 30 day refund period. Scam.

Everything is true here. TV "teaser" $119, then they call because I am a special student and I paid $4500 for "coaching" HA...what a joke. Then I paid $3000 to be a "protege" student with more curriculum. Not to mention the $2000 I spent in mailings and newsletter. I did learn about notes, but finding these is not easy nor cheap and the coaching is worthless. I do believe those few who may have had success...but look at the numbers. I would stay away....luckily this did not hurt me financially but I do want others from getting hurt!!

Ordered "Winning in the Cash Flow Business." Opened package read books and realized this was a total waste of money. Returned course in time for a refund. Still waiting for refund. I live down the street from Russ Dalbey's headquarters so if they don't refund I will go in person to visit them. Checked Colorado's BBB. Russ Dalbey and his organization are not members of the BBB in the state in which he operates. That should say it all! Reputable businesses that are above reproach join the BBB. Don't waste your time or money on this scam!

I bought the product after a home mailer came to the house. I read every word and thought that since it was risk-free (gauranteed, money back) what did I have to lose? I started reading the info and it became quickly apparant that there was much more involved than I was previously led to believe. First, you have to find your notes. They suggest the courthouse. I'm working a full-time job when the courthouse is open. They're closed when I'm available. There is apparently a lot of marketing involved to get the leads. Then you have to call the leads and make them think they should do this. Personally, I don't want to convince people that they should sell now for a lump sum unless that's what they really, really want to do. It's true that sometimes they just want the cash in their hands now. But we all know that if they get the lump sum now, it's going to be for a LOT less money than the note is worth. I can't in good conscience do that to people. I'm still within my 30 days and I'm going to return it. Of course, there is nowhere in the paperwork that tells me how to do that, so now I've got to do investigative work to get anywhere. AND they put in their first of what I expect to be several calls to me last night. I told them I hadn't even read through all the materials yet and made a decision if this was a good match for my skills, time and family. They still wanted me to buy additional training. Um, no. They kept trying to work with my budget, which is zero. I told them that even if I had unlimited money, I still wouldn't invest at this point because I don't know if it's the direction I want to go in yet. In the end, I got rid of the rep by asking him, "if the note business is SO lucritive, why aren't you doing that instead of making telemarketing calls?" He told me it was a conflict of interest, but he didn't explain how. He said that Russ was very good to him and he has plenty of advancement opportunities. Hah.

What a crock!!! I wish I had read this before I laid out $119 for this shit! I received an email today inviting me to join their Millionaire course, so I called. No where on the website did it say that it would cost me $4000 to sign up! This guy I talked to went on and on about this course....I hesitated and said I was scared about giving that much money, he says "Hold on...". 5 minutes later he comes back saying that Russ will grant me a "scholarship" meaning that I would get half off the 4 grand. I said I was still hesitant about letting that much money go, he went into his schpiel saying that this is a business and you have to give something to get a business....I still hesitated, says "hold on" again, "I'll see if I can get you another "scholarship", 3 more minutes on hold, comes back and says "I'm sorry, that's all I can give you." I then said I'll pass, then abruptly says "Good luck in the course" and hangs up. I should have hung up on the asshole but wanted to see what he had to say. After reading this, I'm glad I didn't give them any more money. I am going to notify my credit card company to this crap, hopefully they won't charge me anything else. I have only had the course for 2 weeks, so I am going to try to return it. From what I have read, I am going to stick with getting a refund like white on rice! Save your money.....this organization is such a freaking rip off! How dare he take money from hard working people like myself just trying to improve their quality of life! Russ, you are an IDIOT!

FEB.23,2007 I ordered the Russ Dalbeys program. Had the corse about 7 days they started calling, I thought it sounded good and looked to my options. I was looking into buying and selling notes, thinking it sounds like a resonable way to make money. I talked with Madeline [] and Trever []. They were persistant on getting me too sign at a price of $7550.00.I talked with my friend Joe to see if he might be interested in joining with me.He was going to join with me and I had him talk Madaline Wagner. After he was done talking with Madaline we got on line and found this web sight that was very informative. When I got home from talking Joe,I had three messages from Madaline and the last one said please give her the courtesy of returning her calls.I called 888 499 7064 too tell them I wanted to return the corse and it took me over 20 minets to get a confermation number for my return. After an attitude from Trever and Madiline and the worry of loosing money because of the confusion of wether I get reinversed of the $7500.00 within 30 days or 1 year with no guarantee of getting it at all. My advice to you is DONT ORDER THIS CORSE.

Well i joined the group , I must of had sucker wrote on my forehead, because i fell for it all.I have 30,000 invested, the only time i heard from them was when they needed more money. I told them not to go over the limit on my credit cards, I was only paying 3% interest. now i am paying 29%, I am 64 years old, and on disability, i thought it might be a way to make a little extra. I have been working on notes for a year now, and i am still trying to sell my first, They promise so much & you realy don't get near what he promises. I can tell so much, but I think this is enough. I do want to say, that if all of us get togeather, hire an attorney, why can't something be done. the only thing is he has more money tan we do. we would probably get scamed again by him.

A couple of weeks ago I too ordered the "course" from a booklet I received in the mail called "The Overnight Millionaire." I read through it and was at first impressed, so like a fool I ordered it. The initial low price of $151.50 seemed a reasonable price to pay for future financial success, right? NOPE! Turns out, the price is misleading, and the contents of the package I received were thoroughly disappointing. After your initial enrollment, they then want you to order your own newsletter that they supply, create your own website, join their "Winner's Circle" and get your own "Success Counselor." All totalled, the price can be well over $5,000, and that's a conservative estimate. Nothing at all like what the information states about using no money of your own. Even after you ask for a refund, the "counselors" harass you about getting upgraded and all kinds of useless garbage. Plus, the information in the course was misleading and confusing. It also stated that you would have to check state licensing laws to see if you would need one in order to do this. I didn't even call to see how much a license would cost, but I know it wouldn't be worth it. On top of all that, it seemed that there was a lot of legalities involved. This was not at all like Mr. Dalbey stated when he said all you had to do was "Find 'em, List 'em, and Make Money." No, I'm afraid there's much more to it than that. If you are thinkiin about ordering this course, think again. That $151.50 can be used for something better than useless words. For me, that's over half a week's pay that I was scammed out of. But I do have deilvery confirmation from the Postal Service, and I contacted Dalbey Education about my refund. Not surprisingly, I was told that my refund was processed TODAY, and it would be 3-5 business days before it would be credited to my account. My advice would be: STAY AWAY !!!

2/13/2007 - Linda writes:
I received the package, the calls before I received it to upgrade. I went over everything and did the homework... the calls did not stop. With that I decided they were too push, so I returned everything before the end of the trial period. I received confirmation that it had been recieved and the name that had signed for the package. That was over a month ago. I have yet to receive my refund. I spoke with them today and was told it will be issued within 5 business days. I will keep this site posted as to their adherence to the scheduled refund. Simply, DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

hi i got suckered into trying a new business cash flow.well i felt like this wasn,t for real but i had already charged for the scam 134.00. It really makes me mad to have something like that pulled on me as well as many others. Some legal charges should be brought to a scam ring like that.I had to have my credit card changed so they couldn,t rip me off.

If it smells like crap, sounds like crap, and looks like crap, "Guess what?" Yep, It's crap! I agree with many of the other individuals who have tried this program. The sales people will call you 10 times a day to try to get more money out of you, claiming that "You are among the chosen ones hand picked... blah, blah, blah. I did try to list two notes that I found on my own just to see what happened. I got one bogus response, and the other note was never even answered or listed on the website. The customer service people are so incredibly ignorant, and down right rude when you ask them to help yopu understand the technicalities of the program. I feel pretty stupid having wasted 159.00, but at least that was all! DO NOT waste your money!

1/31/2007 - Paul writes:
I tried the product . My wife saw the commercial on TV and she really wanted us to try it. Sounded very good and quite easy, so we bought the package. I have a boss who has a super good note he's holding. So I posted it on the Dalbeys special site for notes to find an investor. The note could not be ignored. I really expected many, many calls on it , particularly on a national scale. Note for 750000$, 3775 $ a month, 22 payments without problem, ballon payment after 7 years and the property over which the Esso station is located surely underevaluated, no tie to another loaner... I had no, and I say absolutely NO one answer at all. All we got is a lot of offers from the cie to help us in our struggles!! More money needed to be spent! Don't fall for this . This is a scam.

the infomercial said you could make money in 30 days. i got phone call after phone call on getting the proteque program. yep like a dummy i paid 1695.00 dollars for this course and all it has done is send me so called lessons that i have learned nothing from. i purchased their 500 leads for 39.99 or 95 heck i don't remember the cents just all the dollars i have spent to not even get a nibble. then i keep getting all these wonderful emails about these wonderful seminars that cost 4,000.00 dollars for two days. the cost of post cards the time spent at the court house, the time spent day after day wishing and hopeing for just a little nibble so i could make one so called deal and get my 1695.00 back (considering it was my whole savings account.) well here it is almost four months later and i'm not any richer and i have spent a chunk of money doing all the little stuff they tell me to so i can be more successful. what a crock or crap. you only sucessfully delete your bank account

I was impressed by the chance to start a legitimate home business; by Gary Collins; by the "helpfulness" and honest portrayal that was presented, and the opportunity itself seemed very doable. So, I bit and began the 30-day free trial spending 3 weeks thoroughly going over all the materials. (which BTW arrived 3 weeks sooner then I had agreed - via EXPENSIVE FedEx!) I was convinced I would be able to pull this off as I have sales, legal and real estate background; and with 4 days left of my trial period, I matter-of-factly did my due diligence on the internet. I wish I had started there! I spent 2 hours reading all the horror stories of the myriad of ways this "opportunity" has stung it's victims. Stunned, I checked in with the BBB in Colorado and found Russ Dalbey is not only NOT a member, but there are (as of this writing) 296 complaints against him, 172 of which are from 2006, alone, and 34 remain unresolved! This guy really had me fooled! That's when I woke up to the fact that Russ Dalbey is an unsrupulous business person - judging solely from the internet reports and the BBB; and though he offers a legitimate business opportunity, I knew I couldn't afford to screw up my own perfect reputation by having him and/or ANN with their unscrupulous business practices as MY BUSINESS PARTNER! I could just picture getting stuck in the clinches of a deal, depending on him for help, and having "Goofey" either answer, or not answer the phone -- and I'd loose the deal be screwed by these "Goofey-like" idiots. Like everyone else, I too was hustled after only 10 days of free trial into buy the coaching package (via telephone) but dusted them off. Many were not so lucky and have lost thousands of dollars for nothing much in return! I was especially swayed against Dalbey when the BBB's phone report told me that "buying and selling is at your own expense" Gee, no one disclosed that important little PIVOTAL tid-bit of information!! When I combined my own experience with them, their distinct lack of professionality, the unreturned phone calls, the wrong name when they did return them, the lack of mention of the detailed message I had left; the complete ignorance of the people on the other end of the phone -- except for making the sale, of course, I knew it was curtains for this "business opportunity"! LESSON: Do "due diligence" first!

When I bought the initial program, I was very enthusiastic and anxious to get started. I would visited the chat rooms and found the knowledgeable ones who boasted on their merits. Some had no clue. One fellow closed a deal and ended up paying the processing fee. This was an oversight on his part because he failed to issue a release from all costs. After studying the documents inside and out, I came to the conclusion that this practice was very unethical and misleading. We just bought a home and I wouldn't want anyone trying to steal the roof from over our heads. This program is centered around first time home owners with at least two years invested. I found that the program is about filling a home owners need or want by offering a second mortgage, which is actually a lien against the property. The first time home buyers are obliged to sign their property over as collateral and a form that notifies their mortgage company of the second mortgage. This authorization allows their initial mortgage company to release information to the second mortgagor. The terms are that these victims pay the second mortgager who will in turn pay off the first mortgage. This is the slammer, any late or missed payments will immediately cause the property to go into foreclosure without any recourse on the behalf of the first-time hime owners. After gaining the property it is then sold to a buyer for the remaining balance. What first-time home owners need to under is, the second mortgage is actually a home owners loan that is based on your escrow account. I didn't buy into the program, once I understood what was being done to first-time home owners. Additionally, as the negotiator, you are at risk of losing your property should you be sued; which is why some have started businesses that are Inc., Ltd, or PLL. By the way, a BC12 calculator was required to compute financed charges and such. It is known by some to be a realtor's calulator. I hope that all first-time home buyers will beware of this scam and others like them. What is offered as a last resort is handled better by your own mortgagerp or bank. Banks do second mortgages all the time. It takes about two years for first-time owners to accumulate a liable escrow. Plus scammers always prey on the not so knowledgeble ones and look to recruit the greedy ones. I try to live a humble life, so greed was not my motivator. I was only seeking an honest income that I could gain by working from home.
